Lana Asks "What Are You Doing For Christmas?"

This blog post was sent via audio email just a few moments ago by Lana, who is a resident of the Bob and Judy Charles SmartHome in Boulder.

Hi, This is Lana. My birthday is coming up next Wednesday. Happy holidays. What are you going to do for Christmas?

  1. Hi Lana,

I have a birthday card for you (and for John) that I will bring by in the next few days if that's OK with you. For Christmas I am going to my sister's house in Denver. I have my tree up already, but only a couple ornaments. I will put up the lights and more ornaments this weekend, I like doing that. I hear you have your tree up already. I have almost 100 Christmas cards to send out, no kidding. I like to keep in touch with people at least once a year and Christmas is when I do that. I have my cards and stamps already, now I need to take the time to write in the cards. I enjoy it and like to write silly things in the cards. I'll see you soon, and thanks for the audio email, I enjoy hearing your friendly voice. Gary

  2. Hi Lana,

I'm mostly looking forward to getting a little rest this year. I'll be spending the holidays with my partner and son who lives in Boulder now. It's fun to have him around. He lived in Maine for a long time. My step-father always sends some special German Christmas cookies, so I'm looking forward to enjoying them. Otherwise, mostly just exchanging gifts and eating some good food. Happy birthday to you.

By the way, do you like having your birthday right around the holidays?

    Kim
