Donna Learns About The Pilgrims

This blog post, including the photo, came to us in an email from Chantelle Tweten, the Site Supervisor of the Bob and Judy Charles SmartHome.  Last night we got a little more information from Donna in person at her home.

In the photo, Donna shows a work sheet that she completed that helped her to learn about the pilgrims and the Mayflower.  Some of the things Donna learned while studying about the pilgrims are that the pilgrims left England because the King wanted them to worship his way and they didn't agree. Also, the trip on the Mayflower was hard and many people got sick on the way. The ship arrived in the New World in 1620, and landed in what was to become the Plymouth Colony.

Donna asked to pass on her wishes for everyone with Imagine! to have a Happy Thanksgiving.
